ASRB Extension MCQs and Objective Practice

Unit-wise and chapter-wise multiple-choice practice for the ASRB Preliminary, with the real marking scheme and a full analysis after every attempt.

Objective practice for the Preliminary paper

The ASRB Preliminary is 150 objective questions in two hours, with one third of a mark deducted for every wrong answer. That marking scheme changes how you should practise: the skill being tested is not only recall but knowing when not to answer.

The MCQ practice on AgriExtPrep is organised three ways. Mini Quizzes are short and carry no negative marking, so they are for learning. Chapter-wise and unit tests use the real ASRB marking. Full-length tests put the whole paper together under time.

How the tests work

  • Three attempts per test. The full answer analysis opens after your first attempt, so you can learn from it and then come back.
  • Question palette and timer. The same navigation pattern as the real CBT, so the interface is not a new thing to learn on exam day.
  • ASRB marking. Three marks for a correct answer, one mark lost for a wrong one, on everything except the Mini Quizzes.
  • Answer analysis. Every question, your answer, the correct answer and the explanation, plus where you lost time.
  • Report an error. If a question or answer key looks wrong, you can flag it from inside the test and it reaches the admin directly.

MCQ practice by unit

Each unit page lists what that unit covers and links to the tests set from it.

Mini Quizzes are free and have no negative marking. Start there.
