ASRB Extension · Unit 7 of 10

Unit 7: Extension Management & Organizational Behaviour

Running an extension organisation: management functions, structure, supervision, motivation, leadership and conflict.

What this unit covers

Unit 7 covers both halves of running an extension organisation: the management functions on one side, and the human behaviour inside the organisation on the other. ATMA and the KVK system sit here, and both are asked so often that a descriptive answer alone will not score. What separates a good answer is the critical part: vacancies, nominal participation, activity-count targets and weak convergence are the criticisms an examiner is waiting to see.

The unit is broken into 10 syllabus areas, listed below. ASRB has set 16 descriptive questions from it that are on record, and there are 105 practice questions for it on this site.
